Day 11 of 365 ...
44th ANNUAL GALES CREEK STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
SUNDAY, JUNE 13, 2010
This is one event not to be missed! I have tried to take my older daughter every year. I will be taking my younger daughter for the first time and it has become a tradition to go with my best friend and her girls. The homemade shortcake covered with strawberries, ice cream and whipped topping is so delicious that there is normally a line out the church.
Bring your friends and family and cash! Arrive early and stake out a table on the beautiful church grounds. A variety of music, featuring instrumental and vocal selections, will be performed all afternoon on the outside stage.
Eighteen vendors will fill the back and side yard of the church grounds, offering a large selection of handcrafted items and plants, along with antiques in Sandi Evans' booth. Some new and returning vendors will be on hand selling handmade soaps, jewelry, scarfs, doggy wear, hand-turned wood bowls, pens, whirly gigs, honey, baby quilts, kettle corn and much more.
Date: Sunday, June 13, 2010
Time: 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Gales Creek Community Church
