DAY 4 - FOREST GROVE: FOREST GROVE FARMERS' MARKET

Please come and celebrate the opening day of the 2010 Forest Grove Farmers' Market, Wednesday, May 12th!

Time:  4:00 - 8:00 pm

Where:  Downtown Forest Grove on Main St (between Pacific  & 21st)

The Forest Grove Farmers Market is a project of Adelante Mujeres, a non-profit dedicated to the education and empowerment of low-income Latina women and their families.  The Market is a part of the Micro-Enterprise Program and features 20-30 stalls ranging from delicious and fresh locally grown produce, cut flowers, hand-made crafts, hot foods, to locally produced spices, honey, dairy products, meats and more.

The Market is very family-friendly with live entertainment every week as well as a monthly, bilingual (English/Spanish) kids activities.

The Forest Grove Farmers' Market is a great destination for a relaxing evening, some good music, great tamales and a lot of fun!  On any given Wednesday, the Market welcomes 1,800-2,500 patrons.  The Forest Grove Farmers' Market season runs mid-May through mid-October.

The Market is ADA accessible, there is ample 2-hour parking on the street or a 2-hour city parking lot 1 block to the west.  Pets on a leash are welcome to attend the Market with their owners.
