DAY 5 - FOREST GROVE (and vicinity) - HENRY HAGG LAKE RUN/WALK FOR A CAUSE

Henry Hagg Lake 10.4 Mile Run/Walk for a Cause - Early Registration Deadline May 31st

This event on June 26, 2010, is being hosted by Angels Making a Difference with all proceeds going to help cancer patients.  Enjoy a run/walk on a scenic rolling bike trail that varies in elevation of 100 feet.  No age restrictions.  Enjoy a day of family fun and make a difference!

All entries include a sack lunch supplied by Phils 1500 Subs for after the race and an “Angels Making a Difference” t-shirt.  Water will be provided.  There will be first aide, medical attention/EMTs onsite and entertainment will be provided for after the run/walk.There will be a 2 mile course for beginners.

Date:  Saturday, June 26, 2010

Time:  8:00 am for walkers; 9:30 am for runners

Location:  Henry Hagg Lake Park, 50250 SW Scoggins Valley Rd, Gaston OR 97116

The run/walk will start at the Sain Creek Pavilion, which is located at "C" ramp.

Directions From Forest Grove:  Highway 47 (OR-47/TUALATIN VALLEY HWY) approx. 5 miles; turn RIGHT onto SW SCOGGINS VALLEY RD. 3.4 miles; take the first left after the tollbooth and cross the dam to the Start/Finish area.  Minimum 15 minute travel time from Forest Grove.
