I have the best BFF - Doya!  I call Doya my "soul sister".  Some how we are cosmically connected.  When we met in 2000 we instantly clicked.  It had me perplexed; why did I like her so much.  Then I read a questionnaire that she had filled out and realized that we both have the same birthday and that we both had 3 girls (at that time) of the same age.

Granted she is 4 years younger than me ... Why am I telling you this you say,  because ... every year for our mutual birth day we try to go and have an adult only moms' day out that always includes a pedicure (and food and coffee and sometimes a movie)!  Between the two of us we have 5 girls (now) ages 2-12!  We deserve it!

Today is one of those days for me where I really need some pampering but won't have the time or extra funds.  So I have decided to tell you all about the Opulence Pedicure at the The Pointe Day Spa (located in the Hawthorne Farms Athletic Club - Hillsboro).

The Pointe Day Spa has those great massaging chairs.  After our first visit I always subsequently request the type of  Pointe Day Spa pedicure in which you can choose the addition of aromatherapy.  The one I like smells like Pink Grapefruit; grapefruit is supposed to be invigorating but I find the fruit infused scents relaxing.  The Pointe Spa is our number one choice for personalized service, comfortable and upscale amenities and an exceptional relaxing atmosphere.

Please note that The Pointe has ample parking and onsite childcare.  Let the scheduler know when you make your appointment that you want to utilize their onsite childcare.  They accept children 6 weeks to 9 years old.
